Who are we?
We are located at the summit of the Col des Ares pass in the heart of the Pyrenees, 30 minutes from Luchon and 1 hour 15 minutes from Toulouse. Founded in 2006, Laetitia and Stefan, the owners, are proud to present a young, enthusiastic, and athletic team. Stefan van Lanen, I have been living in France since 2006 (originally from the Netherlands). Thanks to the support of our parents (Joop van Lanen and Jean-Pierre Monties), we have built this wonderful business together.

Pyrénées Emotions preserves the calm and the environment to help you forget your everyday urban reflexes and gestures and escape from the modern world.

We have solar panels , recycling facilities , and a natural spring with organic water treatment. Heating is provided by a wood-burning stove using wood from our own woods surrounding the property.

Inside, you'll find spacious and comfortable areas (restaurant, lounge) and nature-themed rooms, each tastefully decorated (snow, water, forest, consciousness, and rock). The terrace, nestled among the branches, offers a unique view of the woods, accompanied by the sounds of birdsong.

Your hosts will be delighted to prepare delicious meals for you using local produce . All cleaning products used are Ecover. A range of outdoor activities are available for relaxation (kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, snowshoeing). You and your children will be encouraged to adopt eco-friendly practices during your stay to help protect the planet.

You will become aware of your well-being while living day to day, in harmony with nature's rhythm and the unhurried pace of rural life. Nature is the best school for learning to live peacefully.
